US baby sizes are based on the age, but since babies may vary a lot in size, it's better to base the size on the baby's weight and height. Use the chart below to find the correct size for your baby.
For toddlers and small kids, use the first size chart which is for both girls and boys. For older children, use the respective chart for girls and boys.
